The Cleveland Browns are hiring Jim Schwartz as their new defensive coordinator, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday, per a source.
Schwartz spent last season as a senior defensive assistant in Tennessee. The 56-year-old coach was last a DC with the Eagles, helping Philadelphia in their Super Bowl-winning campaign in 2017. Schwartz takes over for Joe Woods, who was fired by the Browns on Jan. 9.
