For the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Test Championship 2021-23, a prize money of 3.8 million dollars will be distributed among all the nine teams, while India and Australia will face each other in the final match of the championship.
According to ICC, the winning team of the Test match between India and Australia on June 7 at the Oval Ground in London will take the ‘World Test Champion Mace’ with them.
According to ICC, the winning team of the Test Championship will be awarded 1.6 lakh dollars while the runners-up team will get 8 lakh dollars.
South Africa will get $450,000 for finishing third in the Test Championship, while England will get $350,000 for finishing fourth.
In the World Test Championship, Sri Lanka will get $200,000 for fifth position, New Zealand for sixth, Pakistan for seventh, West Indies for eighth and Bangladesh for ninth position will get $100,000 each.
The ICC says that the prize money of $3.8 million fixed for the inaugural edition of the 2019-21 World Test Championship has not been changed.
