Olympian Karan Khan is hopeful of making history in swimming -HP NEWS

Swimmer Kiran Khan, who won 12 medals including 7 gold medals at the National Games at the age of 11, is now competing with younger swimmers at the National Games after becoming a mother.

5 weeks ago Karan Khan became a mother for the second time, she says she wants to make history in swimming so that more and more girls take to the sport and continue the sport after becoming mothers.

National Games swimming competition in Lahore has started at Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Olympian Kiran Khan is representing Pakistan Army along with sister Olympian Bisma Khan, she won silver medal in 50m butterfly.

Olympian Karan Khan in a special conversation with Geo News said that being experienced is an advantage but one has to work hard to compete with new swimmers, Bisma Khan is the future of Pakistan, she is the best swimmer, both of us sisters. Being on a team that benefits each other, I love competing with and reaching out to today’s kids.

Karan Khan said that it feels great to be back in the swimming pool, I am enjoying competing against new swimmers, I became a mother for the second time 5 weeks ago, my message is that after becoming a mother, the sport Don’t give up, I have a lot of family support, my husband and father are very supportive. That they stay active and don’t miss the game.

Olympian Bisma Khan said that I was not even born when Karan Khan got the title of Golden Girl and now I compete with her and participate in international and national competitions. They get a chance to learn, they continue to play after becoming mothers which is an example for all.
