According to the Ministry of Finance, there has been no increase in the prices of petroleum products. Officials said that the petrol price hike notification on social media is fake.
It should be noted that only yesterday, the government had maintained the price of petrol and diesel while the price of kerosene and light diesel was reduced by Rs.10 and Rs.10 respectively.
