Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has postponed legislation on his government’s controversial court reform bill until next month after nationwide protests.

According to foreign media reports, there have been public protests against controversial judicial reforms in Israel for several weeks.

On Sunday, Netanyahu fired the Minister of Defense Yoaf Gallant for his demand to stop the judicial reforms.

In Israel, the national labor union’s call for a nationwide strike suspended business life, while flights were grounded at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport due to the strike. In addition, Israeli ports, banks, hospitals and medical centers were also closed. .

Israeli President Isaac Herzog also demanded the government to stop the controversial bill yesterday.
