Unofficial and inconclusive results of all 59 seats of repolling of local body elections in 15 districts of Sindh have been received.
On Sunday, the by-elections in 15 districts of Sindh, including Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Khairpur, Sukkur, Sanghar, Jacobabad, Kundhkot, Larkana and Badin, continued from 8 am to 5 pm.
According to unofficial and inconclusive results, PPP won 39 seats while GDA was successful in 6 seats.
Apart from this, Tehreek-e-Insaf got 2 seats while JUI and MQM-Pakistan got one seat each.
According to the unofficial and non-final results, independent candidates won in 9 seats.
In the local body elections, there were contests for the seats of chairman, vice chairman, member district council and general member, the elections were postponed due to allegations of rigging and rioting in these constituencies.
On the other hand, during the by-elections in different areas of Sindh, PPP and Tehreek-e-Insaf activists had a fight in Hyderabad.
During polling on UC-18 in Hyderabad, two groups clashed, PTI and PPP workers clashed, punched and kicked each other.
