Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Multan Sultans fast bowler Shahnawaz Dhani suffered an injury before the start of the event due to which he did not appear in this PSL.
Before the tournament, Dhani had made a prediction about his team’s fast bowler Ehsanullah, which would not be wrong if we say that it almost came true.
Shahnawaz Dhani had said in his tweet that ‘I personally believe that emerging young bowler Ehsanullah will be the highest wicket-taker of this season’.
However, Ehsan finished second with 22 wickets while Abbas Afridi of Sultans who took 23 wickets was the highest wicket taker of the tournament.
Apart from this, Ehsan was awarded as the best bowler of the tournament as well as the player of the tournament, this was the first time in 8 seasons that a bowler got the player of the tournament.
Earlier, Batters has won the player of the tournament award.
It should be noted that throughout this season Abbas and Ehsan continued to compete for taking the most wickets and in the end Abbas won by one wicket.
