By defeating Multan, Lahore Qalandars became Pakistan Super League champions for the second time in a row, making Lahore the first team to defend the title in the PSL.
Lahore Qalandars have become the second team to win the PSL title for the second time. Earlier, Islamabad United has also become PSL champions twice.
The winning team of PSL Lahore Qalandars will be given a trophy made of 24 carat gold along with a prize money of Rs 12 crore.
Final runners-up Multan Sultans will be given 480 million rupees.
It should be noted that in the last season of PSL, the winning team got Rs. 8 crores while the runner-up got Rs. 3.20 lakhs.
