Actions are being taken by the security forces to eradicate terrorism across the country.
Against the recent growing terrorism in the country, the security forces conducted numerous operations across the country and in 3 months, the terrorists, their facilitators were arrested and several attacks were also foiled.
Forces killed 142 terrorists and arrested 1007 in 6921 operations across the country.
Out of 1960 operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1516 area domination operations were conducted, 301 intelligence-based operations and 143 area sanitization operations were conducted in the province while 98 terrorists were killed and 540 were arrested in the province.
Out of 3414 operations, 2980 area domination operations, 67 intelligence-based operations and 367 area sanitization operations were conducted in which 40 terrorists were killed and 112 were arrested.
3 terrorists were killed and 344 arrested in 752 intelligence-based operations in Sindh, while 1 terrorist was killed and 11 arrested in Punjab out of 165 intelligence-based operations.
