President Arif Alvi gave the date of Eleshkin in Punjab and KP Assemblies on Sunday, April 9.
The President announced the date of election under Section 57-A of the Election Act, 2017.
President Arif Alvi said that the Election Commission should issue the election program under Section 57-2 of the Constitution.
Arif Alvi said that there is no restraining order from the judicial forum, no restraining order, so there is no obstacle in the exercise of authority under Section 57-1, the Constitution and the law do not allow a delay of more than 90 days.
