The Lahore High Court has approved the protective bail of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the case filed in Sangjani police station.
A 2-member bench headed by Justice Ali Baqer Najafi heard the application for protective bail in the case registered at Sangjani police station. The court granted Imran Khan’s protective bail till March 3 in this case.
The Lahore High Court had given a last chance to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan to explain the difference between the application for protective bail and the signature of the power of attorney and to appear for protective bail in the case registered at Sangjani police station. He appeared in court.
The court had given Imran Khan a time of 5 pm to appear, but Imran Khan reached the High Court premises at around 5:50 pm. Imran Khan remained in the premises for a long time, during which the leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaaf requested the court to accept the presence of Imran Khan, it is not possible to bring him from the premises to the court room on a wheelchair, however the court rejected this request and Imran Khan was ordered to appear in the court in any case.
Later, around 7:30 PM, Imran Khan got out of the car and walked himself to the courtroom of Justice Baqir Najafi.
The case of Imran Khan’s different signature in the security bail application is going on in the court of Justice Tariq Salim Sheikh of Lahore High Court, while the security bail application in the case filed in Thanasingjani was heard by Judge Ali Baqir Najafi of Lahore High Court.
Earlier, the Lahore High Court had summoned Imran Khan at 2 pm today to explain the difference between the security bail application and the signature of the power of attorney.
When the hearing of the case started at 2 o’clock, Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh inquired that it was 2 o’clock, where is Imran Khan? Imran Khan’s lawyers said that he is on his way, he will reach in a while, there is a security problem.
Justice Tariq Saleem Shaikh said that the security problem is not solved by me, the hearing is being postponed for some time, also reduce the rush in the court.
When the hearing resumed after the break, Imran Khan’s lawyer said that Imran Khan’s security bail application was not filed with his signature.
The court said that if Imran Khan did not file this application, how can he withdraw it? It does not happen that the hearing is adjourned from time to time.
Lawyer Imran Khan said that you should dismiss the application, on this the court said that the hearing will continue, your behavior should have been apologetic, I will give you a show cause notice, keep preparing your answer.
Lawyer’s admission of Imran Khan’s signature on security bail application
Lawyer Khawaja Tariq Rahim admitted that Imran Khan did not sign the security bond application and said that we want to withdraw the application.

Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh said that I will give a show cause notice to Imran Khan and give a date of 3 weeks.
