Shahid Afridi reached the field to congratulate the players of Karachi Kings on getting the first victory in the eighth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) and hugged them.
In the match of Pakistan Super League on Sunday, Karachi Kings finally got their first victory in the fourth match after losing consecutively in the first three matches.
Chasing the target of 186 runs given by Karachi Kings, the team of Lahore Qalandars was bowled out for 118 runs in the 18th over. Thus, Karachi Kings easily defeated Lahore Qalandars by 67 runs.
After getting the first victory in PSL 8, former captain of Pakistan Cricket Team Shahid Afridi met the players of Karachi Kings at Karachi National Bank Cricket Arena at the stadium.
Meanwhile, he hugged the players and congratulated them on their success.
Talking to the media in Karachi, Shahid Afridi said that Karachi should stay in PSL, today Karachi Kings won against a good team.
He said that let the tournament happen now, then we will see everyone’s performance, don’t put any youth on one match, the pressure of expectations will come, let them play now.
