Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer of Muslim League-N Maryam Nawaz says that the temperature in the death cell of Kot Lakhpat Jail used to be 50 degrees Celsius.

Maryam Nawaz while talking in Jirga program of Geo News said that it is my opponents who brought me into politics, if there were no abuses against Nawaz Sharif, my role would have been only to support him, my father is right and with him. Abuse continued, the entire party did not agree on many issues.

He said that many times Nawaz Sharif backtracks from his opinion and puts the opinion of the party first. There have been two narratives in the party but those who have the second narrative have come to appreciate Nawaz Sharif’s narrative.

Maryam Nawaz said that I was kept in a death cell in Kot Lakhpat Jail, I was kept in the death cell for 24 hours, I used to iron clothes by heating a frying pan in Kot Lakhpat Jail. The temperature there was 50 degrees Celsius.

He said that I never cried, neither in public nor in the death cell, I cried on the death of my mother and blacked out. Sahib has been shifted to the hospital, at which time Rui cried.

The chief organizer of the PML-N said that NAB people used to secretly make videos of me, microphones and secret cameras were installed everywhere, Pakistan’s politics has never seen such a decline.

He said that naturally, I am not a vindictive type of person, the perpetrators of abuses have become a lesson to be learned today, they were riding on the shoulders of the establishment from 2018 to early 2022.

Maryam Nawaz said that Imran Khan’s cases are not political but Imran Khan’s cases are serious crimes.
