Osman Anis, who was born in the earthquake of Turkey in 1999, died in the earthquake of 2023.
Speaking to the Turkish media, Osman’s mother spoke about her son’s short life and revealed that Osman was born in 1999 in the Turkish city of Gazi Antip, during an earthquake, and now in 2023, Osman is in southern Turkey. I lost my life in the earthquake that occurred in the city of Noordi.
Usman’s mother, Asaye Bas Turk, spoke about the night of February 6, which became a nightmare for her life.
She said that ‘I opened my eyes that night and everything was shaking. I immediately picked up my husband and put him against the wall. As soon as I moved towards my children, the roof fell on me.’
According to Asia Boss Turk, on the night of the 7.7 earthquake, my eldest son Usman was sleeping in the same room with his brother Amirhan, but nature had written his life that way.
Usman’s mother said that ‘my son was very brave, he was like a mountain, I thought that Usman would save his brother, my son stood around his brother but he did not save himself. Can be saved’.
He said that Usman helped his brother out of the wreckage, but he could not come out from under the wreckage himself.

Usman’s brother said that he was helped out by Usman and was crushed under the debris and lost his life.
