A case of attack on Karachi Police Office (KPO) was registered in Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police station.
The case has been registered in the complaint of the SHO of Sadar Thane, the case includes terrorism, murder and attempted murder, among other provisions.
According to the text of the case, the SHO says that at 7:15 pm the attack was reported via wireless, he reached the spot at 7:20 pm and called for a team, headed by DIG Irfan Baloch, against the terrorists. The operation was arranged.
It has been said in the case that three terrorists were involved in the attack, one terrorist was killed in retaliation on the fourth floor, one terrorist blew himself up on the third floor, and the third terrorist was also killed in retaliation on the roof. The two terrorists who were killed were also wearing suicide vests, the organs of the suicide bomber have been found.
According to the police officials, case charge number 20 was registered on February 18 at 4:30 PM.
According to the text of the case, 4 Rangers and policemen were martyred in the attack, 18 people were injured in the attack, the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack through social media, the rear wall of the family quarters built near the terrorist president police line. They entered by cutting the wire, 3 terrorists arrived in a car and reached the Sadar police line. The terrorists who came on a motorcycle pointed out the KPO to the terrorists in a car, 5 hand grenades, 2 suicide jackets were found from the terrorists which were defused.
Explosives Sections 3 and 4 have also been added to the case.
