The death toll from the February 6 earthquake in Turkey and Syria has exceeded 43,000, killing thousands and leaving millions homeless.
For the past two weeks, heartbreaking scenes have been appearing on the foreign media including the Turkish media and now a similar video has been released by the Turkish media on social media which has melted the hearts of the viewers.
The video shows two Turkish children who are given chocolates by volunteers but both children refuse to take them.
When the volunteers give the chocolate, the child in the yellow jacket says ‘I won’t eat it’, the volunteer insists on eating it, the other child returns the chocolate and says ‘give it to others’.
Volunteers question him, why should we give it to others? To this the child in the black jacket replies that ‘these chocolates should be given to others so that they too can eat them’.
The volunteer praises the child and says, “Don’t you like it?” You take, they are for them too, to which the child says ‘I would still like to leave it for others, you give it to someone else, it belongs to others’.
