The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) compiled a report of the terrorist attack on the Karachi Police Office (KPO) located on Sharia Faisal area of Karachi.
On Friday evening, 4 people including two police officers and Rangers personnel were martyred in the attack of terrorists on the Karachi Police Office, while 3 terrorists were killed in the retaliatory action of the police and law enforcement agencies and the building was cleared after about 4 hours.
Bomb disposal squad officials say that 2 suicide jackets, 8 hand grenades and 3 grenade launchers were found on the bodies of the dead terrorists.
According to the report, the grenades were found in a defunct condition, possibly the grenades thrown by the terrorists could not explode, the suicide jackets recovered from the terrorists were 8 to 10 kg in weight.
The BDS report stated that the search was conducted from the ground floor to the fourth floor of the building, the suicide jackets were made of mechanical style, there was no electronic system in the jackets.
The report said that the suicide jackets were prepared in detonator style.
