The leopard that was making noise for several hours in the housing society of Islamabad turned out to be a pet of a resident of the society, a case has been registered against the owner.
According to reports, the leopard had escaped yesterday due to the owner’s employee leaving the cage open, then the oiled leopard was controlled hours later after being locked in the basement of a house and sedated.
The presence of the leopard in the private housing society will be investigated, a case has been registered against an unknown person for keeping the leopard in the house in the Sahala police station.
According to the security officials, the housing authority will also take action against the owner of the leopard, the leopard injured 5 people, was caught after 7 hours of struggle.
The leopard is currently kept in Islamabad Zoo.
