Inspector General (IG) Sindh Police has confirmed that 2 terrorists have been killed in the exchange of fire.
According to the sources, the attack was carried out at 7:10 PM, there are reports of the presence of 8 to 10 attackers in the Karachi Police Office, heavy firing and explosions have also been heard near the Police Office and the lights and doors of the headquarters have been closed. .
Police sources said that the attackers entered through the police lines and the terrorists are also present in the parking area of the KPO.
Officials said that a heavy contingent of Rangers, police and other law enforcement agencies has been called in and the police force has surrounded the police office and both tracks of Shaara Faisal have been closed for traffic.
