The eighth edition of Pakistan Super League will start from today, the defending champions Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans will compete in the opening match. A colorful opening ceremony will also be held at Multan Stadium before the match.
Performers participating in the opening ceremony of PSL 8, the biggest cricket festival in Pakistan, did a full dress rehearsal, modern technology will be used for the event, while besides the singers who will sing the song of PSL 8, Aima Baig. And Sahir Ali Baga will also create the magic of sound at the event.
According to PCB, the gates of Multan Stadium will be opened at 2 PM, the first and unique opening ceremony of its kind will start at 6 PM while the match will start at 8 PM.
Shaheen Afridi, the captain of Lahore Qalandars, says that being the defending champion, he is very excited, will start well in the event, will try to get Multan Sultans top order out early.
On the other hand, Multan Sultans captain Mohammad Rizwan says that Shaheen Afridi and Haris are top class bowlers and one has to make a strategy against them and play boldly.
