In Nankana Sahib, a case was registered in the incident of the accused of blasphemy being taken out of the police station and killed by torture.
According to the police, a case under 295 B has also been registered against the accused Waris Ali.
Police sources say that an FIR has been sealed against those responsible for killing the accused and raids are being conducted to arrest those involved in the incident.
It should be noted that last day in Nankana Sahib’s Warburton area, the angry people stormed the police station and killed the accused of blasphemy from the police station and tortured him to death.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab and IG had taken strict notice of the incident, DSP Nankana and SHO Police Station Warburton have been suspended.
