Senior Pakistani actor Shaan Shahid has expressed his concern about the Pakistan film industry and said that if the teams of Pakistan and India play cricket, then why can’t films be released?
Speaking at the Pakistan Literature Festival held in Lahore, Shan Shahid said that all the great personalities and literary people, including Amjad Islam Amjad, are gone, only the politicians have survived, the rights of the common man have remained only in the slogans of the politicians.
The actor raised the question that the teams of Pakistan and India play cricket, then why can’t films be shown? Pakistan film industry is running like an orphan.
During the conversation, Shan Shahid said in the conversation about Kashmir that there is an urgent need to talk about the oppression of Kashmiris, if we are not going to count the days in the lockdown, then what will be the condition of Kashmir? Freedom is everyone’s right.
Shaan further said that the rights of the common man today are left only in the slogans of politicians, listening to the talk of political people, it seems that Punjabi films are now children’s films.
