ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has appointed a suo motu case for the hearing of senior journalist Arshad Sharif’s murder.

A 5-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan will hear the case on February 13. Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan, Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel and Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar are also included in the bench.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court has sought a report from the JIT on the investigation in UAE and Kenya.
