Several Turkish footballers, including star footballers Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, donated their jerseys to help the earthquake victims, after which Ronaldo’s jersey was sold for 212,450 dollars (more than 57.2 million rupees).
Recently, Turkish and Atlanta footballer Merih Demirel requested many footballers, including Lionel Messi, to donate their personal jerseys for the victims of the terrible earthquake in Turkey.
After which the jerseys of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Mbappe, Arlen Holland, Neymar JR and Eden Hazard became part of Meri Dremel’s roster of player shirts, these jerseys have been put up for auction to help the earthquake victims.
According to media reports, Ronaldo’s jersey has been sold with the highest bid of 2,12,450 dollars.
On the other hand, European Football Associations Union has also donated about 214,000 dollars to support humanitarian efforts in Turkey and Syria.
