Why did the German and Austrian army stop the rescue operation in Turkey? -HP NEWS

The bad situation of public order in Turkey came under the cover of rescue and search operations.

According to the report of the British broadcasting organization, the international organizations working in the earthquake-affected areas say that the security situation in the southern regions of the country is deteriorating due to which the rescue operation is being disrupted.

German and Austrian troops have also called off search operations in the area, saying they had to do so because of clashes between unknown groups.

There have also been reports of looting incidents in the affected areas. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned that he will deal strictly with those who break the law.

On Saturday, clashes between unknown groups in Hatay province saw dozens of Austrian and German forces fleeing back to their base camps.

German and Austrian rescue teams have expressed concern over these incidents and said that gunshots have also been heard at some places.

Later, the Turkish security forces took over the position, after which the Austrian team resumed the rescue operation, but no information was received regarding the resumption of the German rescue operation.

On the other hand, the Turkish official media says that 48 people have been arrested for looting.

In addition, even after 5 days of the earthquake, the hope of finding alive people from the wreckage is bright, in Antakya, a woman, a man and a child were pulled out alive from the wreckage after 130 hours.

The search for survivors in the rubble in the affected areas of Turkey continues.

On the other hand, the Turkish government has started considering the reopening of Antakya Airport within 24 hours, the runway of Antakya Airport was badly affected by the earthquake on Monday.

The total death toll from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria has exceeded 25,000.

The number of deaths from the earthquake in Turkey has reached 22 thousand 327, while the number of deaths from the earthquake in Syria is more than 3 thousand 500.
