The Election Commission has written a letter to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for recovery from Chairman PTI Imran Khan and others for using helicopters by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

The Election Commission of Pakistan has written a letter to NAB regarding recovery from Imran Khan and other persons for using government helicopters and declaring them insolvent.

In the letter written to NAB, it is said that Imran Khan and other unauthorized persons should be declared as defaulters by the relevant forum and the list of defaulters should be provided to the Election Commission. will be sent.

According to the NAB document, 1800 illegal trips were made in the two official helicopters of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, politicians used the helicopters 588 times, government officials used the helicopters 577 times, 198.3 million against unauthorized persons and 9 million due to politicians. There are arrears of more than Rs. 68 lakh crore, while more than Rs. 5 crore 8 lakh are owed to government officials, others have arrears of more than Rs. 5 crore.

It should be remembered that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly had declared the use of helicopters legal from November 1, 2008, on which the Muslim League-N has challenged the amendment of the law related to the use of helicopters in the Peshawar High Court.
