The 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Turkey and Syria on February 6 was followed by another 7.6 magnitude earthquake which caused further destruction and due to which the rescue work could not be completed till now.
Where thousands of people and children lost their homes and families in the earthquake, nature blessed many with a second life.
A similar incident took place in Turkey where after 10 days the newborn and his mother were pulled out alive after being trapped under the rubble for 4 days which was confirmed by the rescue team.
According to a foreign news agency report, rescue officials said the woman and her child were rescued after spending several days in bitterly cold weather as crews struggled to cope with severe weather and aftershocks in Turkey and Syria. The search for survivors was later stopped.
Rescue officials said that when we pulled out the 10-day-old Turkish baby ‘Yegiz Olas’ and his mother from under the rubble, the baby did not cry at all, which scared us. So he was alive.
On the other hand, his mother’s condition was shocking, her face turned yellow but she was conscious and was taken to the hospital for first aid.
It should be noted that the death toll from the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria has exceeded 23 thousand.
