The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has advised the People’s Party not to participate in the by-elections.
According to the sources, a virtual meeting of PDM leaders was held with the leadership of the PPP, in which the PDM leaders suggested that the PPP should not participate in the by-elections.
According to the sources, a meeting of the parliamentary board consisting of senior PPP leaders was held under the chairmanship of Chairman People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in which the proposal of PDM was discussed.
Sources say that in the meeting different opinions were expressed on the proposal of not participating in the by-elections, People’s Party decided to proceed with the consultation to participate in the by-elections or not.
According to PPP sources, the final decision on PPP’s non-participation in the by-elections will be taken later.
