The Modi government is looking to erase every trace of Muslim rule in India.
The Deputy Chief Minister of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Brijesh Pathak, has hinted at changing the name of Lucknow to Lakshmanpuri.
Brijesh Pathak wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to change the name of Lucknow.
Samajwadi Party leader Aklish Yadav termed Modi as a name-changing government and said that BJP people are not working, they are only changing the name, now they should change the name of the table to chair.
It should be noted that earlier the Hindu extremist ruling party of India has changed the names of many cities including Ahmedabad and Allahabad.
