Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has claimed that a “patriot party” is being formed and wants Sheikh Rashid to head the party.
Sheikh Rasheed announced to contest the by-election from NA-62 from jail saying that he can spend his whole life in jail but cannot commit treason and disloyalty.
He said that the government has no intention of holding the election of the provincial assemblies, they want to hold the election of the national and provincial assemblies together.
