The State Bank of Pakistan has released foreign exchange reserves data as of February 3.
According to the State Bank, the foreign exchange reserves of Pakistan have decreased by 17 million dollars in the last week.
The decrease in foreign exchange reserves was due to the repayment of foreign debt, as on February 3, Pakistan’s total foreign exchange reserves stood at $8.53 billion and 9.6 million dollars.
The foreign exchange reserves with the State Bank have remained at 2 billion 916 million dollars, while the foreign exchange reserves with the commercial banks have remained at 5 billion 62 million 29 million dollars.
