Islamabad: Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided to participate in the joint session of Parliament.

The members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf held a meeting at Parliament Lodges in which PTI decided to participate in the joint session of Parliament on Monday.

Sources say that PTI has decided to make a plan for the future in case of receiving a court order after suspending the decision of the Election Commission to de-notify 43 members of the National Assembly.

According to PTI sources, all the legal requirements will be fulfilled in this regard and the members say that there is no point in coming to Parliament before getting a court order.

Earlier, after the stand of the National Assembly Secretariat and the Speaker, the PTI members changed their decision and decided to go to the Assembly only in the light of the court decision.

Sources say that the National Assembly Secretariat has asked to prevent the PTI members from coming to the meeting until the written order of the court.

According to sources, the PTI members will return to the National Assembly only if the matter of resignations is annulled instead of suspended.

It should be noted that yesterday the Lahore High Court suspended the Election Commission’s decision to de-notify 43 members of the National Assembly of PTI and the court has also stopped the by-elections in these constituencies.
