Despite the passage of three days, no trace of this year’s biggest robbery of 7.5 million rupees was found at a woman’s shop in Clifton area of Karachi.
According to the Clifton police, the incident took place on the afternoon of February 4 at Renz’s Jewelery Shop, Zamzam Commercial Street, Clifton Phase 5, and a case number 64/23 was registered against the owner of the shop, Nasreen Abdul Khaliq.
According to the woman, 2 suspects, aged between 35 and 40, wearing pant shirts, entered the shop under the pretext of buying nose cloves, who took them hostage by taking out weapons during the negotiation.
According to the woman, one of the armed accused tied her hands and mouth with tape, while the other accused took her with him and robbed Rs 50 lakh in cash, various gold ornaments, sets and gold biscuits kept in the safe of the shop.
According to the plaintiff, the accused locked her and the employee in the shop and fled by putting the stolen money and gold in their school bag.
According to the Clifton Police, a case of the incident was registered on the day of the incident, which is being investigated by the Investigation Department, but despite the passage of three days, the culprits could not be traced.
