During the shooting of a drama of a private TV channel in Karachi, actress Hira Mani, film director Nabil Qureshi and other staff members were attacked by local residents.
Nabil Qureshi said in a tweet that during the shooting of the drama in a house in PIB Colony Jamshed Quarter, a large number of local residents gathered and stormed the set.
He said that in the house where he was shooting, he had an old dispute with the neighbors, the neighbors first asked not to make noise, then gathered people and stormed and harassed the women and actresses.
Nabil Qureshi said that the attackers also took away mobile phones and other items. Actress Hara Mani was also present on the set at the time of the attack by local residents.
In response to the director’s tweet, the police said that a case has been registered and 6 people have been arrested and further investigations are underway.
