After the deadly earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the international community has expressed solidarity with the two countries and offered assistance, while many countries have dispatched rescue teams to participate in relief activities.
Turkey and Syria have been hit by a severe earthquake and a 7.9-magnitude earthquake has leveled several buildings, resulting in a total death toll of over 1,400 and hundreds of people injured.
After the devastating earthquake in Turkey, the international community has expressed solidarity and the United States has offered to provide all possible assistance to Turkey in the earthquake.
Apart from this, France, Ukraine and Israel have also offered help in relief activities.
Rescue teams from Azerbaijan, the Netherlands and Romania are arriving in the affected areas of Turkey and Syria to immediately participate in relief activities.
According to the European Commission, after the earthquake in Turkey, many countries including Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Hungary, Poland have issued an order to urban search and rescue teams for immediate preparation and the teams will soon participate in relief work in the affected areas.
The President of the European Parliament says that Europe stands with Turkey and Syria in the hour of difficulty.
On the other hand, people in Turkey are also arriving from different cities to voluntarily participate in the relief works in the earthquake-affected areas.
