The exhibition match of PSL 8 will be played today in Quetta, preparations are complete -HP NEWS

The exhibition match of the eighth season of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Quetta will be played today between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi.

Match preparations have been completed at Bugti Cricket Stadium, players and officials of Quetta and Peshawar teams have reached Quetta, more than 13 thousand tickets have been sold for the match.

For the match in Quetta, strict security arrangements have been made in the stadium and surrounding areas, more than 4,000 police and Frontier Corps personnel will perform security duties.

Former star cricketers Shahid Afridi, Javed Miandad and Moin Khan have also reached Quetta to watch the exhibition match of PSL, while many showbiz stars including Dakar Ayub Khosa, Ahad Raza have also reached Quetta.

In the exhibition match of PSL8, Quetta Gladiators will be led by Sarfraz Ahmed, while Peshawar Zalmi players will take the field under the leadership of national team captain Babar Azam.

According to the district administration, there will be a complete ban on the use of drone cameras in and around the stadium, while cricket fans will not be allowed to bring any flag other than the Pakistani flag to the stadium to watch the match.

It should be noted that according to the schedule PSL 8 will start from February 13 while the final will be played on March 19 in Lahore.
