Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, the head of Awami Muslim League and the nephew of former federal minister Sheikh Rashid, has claimed that Sheikh Rashid is not present in any police station in Islamabad.
Talking to the media, Sheikh Rashid Shafiq said that Sheikh Rashid is in Abpara police station and not in the police station secretariat, Sheikh Rashid is not present in any police station in Islamabad at the moment.
He said that Sheikh Rashid was met at our police station secretariat yesterday, after meeting Sheikh Rashid was transferred somewhere in the vehicles.
He further said that Sheikh Rasheed told that he was taken blindfolded, at that time Karachi Police is also present in Islamabad.
Rashid Shafiq said that Sheikh Rashid has sent a message that he is being sent to Karachi to kill him. Sheikh Rashid said that if anything happens to me, FIR should be registered against Shahbaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto and Rana Sanaullah.
It should be remembered that Sheikh Rasheed is to be produced in court today after his two-day physical remand ends.
Yesterday, Murree and Karachi police officials also reached Islamabad to take Sheikh Rashid into custody, but the Islamabad police told them that they can allow Sheikh Rashid to be taken only after the permission of the court.
