In Bangladesh, 191 news websites were ordered to be blocked for publishing anti-state news.
The Bangladeshi Information Minister says that the telecom regulator has been instructed to block the domains of the mentioned websites as per the reports of the intelligence agencies.
He said that these websites are involved in such activities which are causing confusion in the minds of the people.
According to reports, hundreds of people have been arrested since 2018 under Bangladesh’s ‘Digital Security Act’.
