Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Pervaiz Khattak says that he is not aware of the apex committee meeting, we have not received an invitation to participate in the meeting.
Apex committee meeting will be held today in Peshawar, all stakeholders, police, rangers and senior officers of sensitive institutions will participate in the meeting.
Earlier, according to the sources, the Prime Minister has also invited two representatives of PTI to attend the Apex Committee meeting in Peshawar today.
Sources say that PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq conveyed the Prime Minister’s message to Asad Qaiser and Peroz Khattak that he invites two PTI representatives to participate in the apex committee against terrorism.
However, while talking to Geonews, Pervaiz Khattak said that he is not aware of the apex committee meeting, we have not received an invitation to attend the meeting.
Apart from this, PTI leader Asad Qaiser said that no instructions were received from the central leadership regarding participation in the Apex Committee meeting, Imran Khan will take the decision regarding participation in the meeting.
It should be noted that today’s meeting will consider the terrorist incident that happened in the mosque of Peshawar Police Lines on January 30.
The meeting of the Apex Committee will consider measures to end terrorism, CTD and police upgradation.
