Pakistani actress Nimal Khawar Khan’s maternal uncle was also killed in a suicide blast in a mosque in Peshawar many years ago.
This disclosure was made by the lawyer sister of the actress Fiza Khawar after the police lines suicide blast.
“When I was 12 years old, my uncle was killed in a suicide bombing in a mosque in Peshawar, not far from the mosque that has been recently targeted by terrorists,” she said.
He said that ‘my uncle lost his life protecting the imam of the mosque’.
Fiza Khawar wrote in a disappointed manner that ’15 years have passed since this incident but still nothing has changed’.
In another tweet, the actress’ sister wrote that ‘when such tragedies have happened in your homes, you cannot turn away from them, till now there are no answers, nor is it all over’.
Fiza said, ‘In such a situation, you can only hope that such incidents will stop but they don’t, rulers come to power one after another but no one can stop these incidents, or maybe they don’t want to. ‘.
It should be noted that a suicide attack took place in Peshawar’s Sadar Police Lines on January 30 during Zuhr prayer, in which more than 100 people were martyred.
