US Secretary of State Antony Blanken has condemned the terrorist attack on the Police Lines mosque in Peshawar and expressed his condolences to the families of those who died in the tragedy.
In his statement, US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken said that his condolences go out to the families who lost their loved ones as a result of the senseless terrorist attack.
He said that the victims of the tragedy were security personnel who risked their lives.
In his statement, he said that America stands with Pakistan against all kinds of violence against citizens, and is with the Pakistani government on its efforts to combat terrorism.
Vedant Patel, the Deputy Spokesperson of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has said that he is in regular contact with the Pakistani authorities, and the special envoy went to Islamabad to discuss the ongoing situation in Afghanistan.
