Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, nephew of Sheikh Rashid, has said that Sheikh Rashid has been arrested in a case to which he is not related.
Talking to Geo News, Sheikh Rashid Shafiq said that at 12:30 PM, Sheikh Rashid was arrested by Abpara Police from his residence, Sheikh Rashid was arrested from a private housing society which is in Punjab.
Sheikh Rashid Shafiq said that the police broke down the doors of the house, assaulted the employees and ransacked Sheikh Rashid’s bedroom.
He said that the police have taken two bullet proof vehicles and two licensed Kalashnikovs of Sheikh Rasheed.
He said that it is not difficult for the police to keep alcohol and weapons, anything can happen, they will go to the Islamabad High Court today against the arrest, a contempt of court petition will be filed.
