Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has decided to end the unfair difference in the salaries of the officers of the Federal Secretariat.
The Prime Minister has decided to give executive allowance of 150% of the basic salary of 2017 to the officers deprived of executive allowance in grades 17 to 22 to eliminate the unfair gap in the salaries of government officials.
In this regard, the Prime Minister’s Office says that the decision to increase the executive allowance will be applicable from January 1, 2023.
The Prime Minister’s Office says that the decision was taken after consultation with the Finance Minister on the instructions of the Prime Minister.
