Recently they beat the most popular Korean band that the younger generation is crazy about.
According to a report by The Times of India, Guinness Book of World Records has named Alka Yagnik as the most-listened-to singer globally on YouTube in 2022.
According to reports, the singer’s songs were listened to 15.3 billion times last year, compared to Alka Yagnik’s average of 42 million streams per day.
The Indian singer surpassed famous American rapper ‘Bad Bunny’ whose songs have been listened to 14.7 million times.
Not only that, in 2021 and 2020 too, Alka Yaganak’s songs were listened to 17.7 billion and 16.6 billion times respectively.
Alka topped the list of most listened to singers, beating out big musical bands like BTS and BLACKPINK.
