An attempted drone attack on a defense installation in Iran has been thwarted, with no initial reports of casualties.
According to the Iranian News Agency, explosions were heard at a military installation in the central Iranian city of Isfahan. Later, Iranian officials confirmed that a drone attack was attempted on a workshop complex of the Ministry of Defense.
According to Iranian news agency, microbirds were used to attack the defense installation, one microbird was shot down by air defense while two exploded.
The Iranian Ministry of Defense has said in its statement that there were no casualties from the explosions, but the roof of the workshop was slightly damaged.
