In India, the poor father’s daughter committed suicide by hanging a noose around her neck after not giving her a mobile phone.
According to the Indian police, a girl in the village of Jhajhar in the Indian state of Haryana expressed her desire to get a mobile phone from her father, but the father refused citing the bad financial situation of the daughter.
The police spokesperson said that after hearing her father’s refusal, the girl put a noose around her neck and hanged herself from the ceiling after her parents went to work, which led to her death.
The police say that the body of the girl has been sent to the hospital for post-mortem while the incident is being investigated.
