Prominent jurist and former Advocate General of Punjab Ahmed Owais has said that the President’s silence in the matter of Fawad Chaudhry’s arrest is commendable.
Ahmed Owais Advocate, speaking in the Geonews program Capital Talk, said that the constitutional requirement of the position of the President is that he should remain silent in this kind of matter.
It should be remembered that PTI leader Shireen Mazari appealed to the President to intervene on the arrest of Fawad Chaudhary.
