PSL franchises have chosen substitute players to replace the unavailable players -HP NEWS

6 franchises of Pakistan Super League (PSL) have selected alternate players to replace the players who will be partially or completely unavailable for PSL 8, the teams have also added two more supplementary players to the squad. are

The replacement and supplementary drafts for the Pakistan Super League were held on a conference call on Wednesday.

In the platinum category, Lahore Qalandars have partially included Sam Billings in the squad instead of Rashid Khan. Rashid Khan will not be available to Lahore for the first two to three matches due to national obligations.

Peshawar Zalmi replaced Raoman Powell with Richard Gleeson, Islamabad replaced Rehmanullah Garbaz and Alex Hales with Temal Mills and Gus Atkinson, while Multan replaced David Miller with Izharul Haq Naveed, Quetta Gladiators partially omitted. Did not pick anyone in place of available Vinandu Hasaranga.

In the diamond category, Quetta Gladiators have replaced Jason Roy and Odin Smith with Devine Pretorius and Will Jacks, while in the gold, Multan Sultans have not picked replacements for the partially unavailable Tim David and Aqeel Hussain.

Lahore Qalandars picked South Africa’s Sean Dadswell in place of England’s Harry Brook, while Quetta added Nawan Thusara to the team for Naveen-ul-Haq’s non-availability window.

Among the other replacement players, Qalandars replaced Jordan Cox with Kosal Mendis, Multan Sultans replaced Adil Rashid with Wayne Parnell while Karachi Kings partially replaced Tabriz Shamsi with Faisal Akram.

It should be noted that players from South Africa and West Indies will not be available for PSL after March 8, Alex Hales will join PSL from February 26, while other England players will be absent from February 26 to 14 due to the series against Bangladesh. Will not be available to teams until March.

Tim David will join Multan Sultans on March 3, Vinandu Hasaranga will play PSL till March 3, Jordan Cox will be available to Qalandars after February 21 due to England Lions duty.

The PSL franchises also added two more supplementary players to the squads on Wednesday.

Among the supplementary players, Peshawar Zalmi has Haris Sohail and Khurram Shahzad, Lahore Qalandars have Ahsan Bhatti, Islamabad United have Tom Kiran and Zafar Gohar, Karachi Kings have Ben Cutting and Musa Khan, Quetta Gladiators have Saud Shakeel and Qais Ahmed, while Multan Sultans have Imad Butt and Kieron Pollard were included in the squad.

The eighth edition of PSL will start from February 13.
