Mohammad Rizwan, the wicket keeper of the national cricket team, has told about his favorite cricketer.
Mohammad Rizwan, who represents Comilla Victorians in the Bangladesh Premier League, said in a post-match interview that ‘it’s quite difficult to join a team and play a central role and sometimes it’s embarrassing’.
“As far as I know, any franchise chooses me because they have expectations from me that I will play an important role in that team like the Pakistan team,” he said.
Rizwan said, “I always play with care for the conditions and how the opponent bowls, and sometimes it’s embarrassing because everyone wants to see sixes and fours in T20 cricket.”
The national cricketer said, “The fans want me to score 60, 70 runs in 30 or 45 balls, but the important thing for me is to win the match.”
Rizwan also said ‘It is important to do what is important for the team while looking at the scoreboard. I used to play in T20, that’s why I also play as per the need of the team.
Regarding playing slowly in T20, the national cricketer said, ‘Sometimes you have to play with a low strike rate in T20 because the opposing team wants to take wickets, you play slowly in the beginning and then when the team needs it, big shots. Play’.
“It’s important for me to be successful in sports and mostly,” he added.
