The nominations for the ‘Oscar Awards’, considered the most prestigious in the film world, have been announced, in which the film ‘Every Thing Everywhere All at Once’ has been in the forefront with 11 nominations.
This Hollywood science fiction film was nominated for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor among others.
At the 95th Oscars, the Best Picture nominations were for Every Thing, Everywhere, All At Once, Avatar, The Way of Water, TÁR, Elvis, The Fabelmans, The Banshees of Inisherin, Top Gun Maverick, All Quiet on the Western Front, Triangle of There will be competition between Sedens and Women Talking.
The Banshees of Inisherin was nominated for a total of 9 awards, most notably in the acting categories for which 4 of its actors will compete.
All Quiet on the Western Front and Elvis were nominated for 8, 8 awards.
The Fabelmans was nominated for a total of 7 awards including Best Director.
Top Gun Maverick received 6 nominations but Tom Cruise himself failed to get a Best Actor nomination.
Pakistani film Joyland failed to make a place in the foreign film category, but the song Naatu Naatu from the Indian film ‘RRR’ managed to get a nomination in the Best Original Song category.
It should be noted that the Oscar Awards ceremony will be held on March 12.
